So many characters! So much death! The drama!
Cannot wait to read the second installment of this series. You can tell the author knows the characters well and it was easy to visualize the world they built.
I enjoyed the descriptions of the characters and the world they moved around in. By the time you’ve familiarized yourself with a group of characters, you’re introduced to a new set in another place within the same universe. This book is the perfect launching pad into the grander story that is much anticipated by this reader. Very well written, with a well-utilized index of characters at the back of the book and so much intrigue!
Highly recommend this book to anyone that already enjoys stories about mythical creatures, impending battles, royal courts, and death at every corner.
